Q. My girlfriend decided to transfer to a bigger institution; I tried to discourage her mainly because I was afraid that the distance would tear us apart. She assured me that everything would be okay. True to her word she tried as much as possible to make the transition as easy as possible by visiting very often, writing me letters, sending me care packages and calling me every chance she got. Truly it was like she never even left. Lately however, I've been approached by so many girls. I've been faithful this far but I don't know how long I can stay this way. PLEASE HELP!
Long distance lover….
Adaeze: Hmm, you sound really undecided. You have to ask yourself if you want a relationship or not. Your girlfriend is apparently doing everything in her power to please you and make thing better for your relationship, air plane tickets are high you know! I think you should consider your girlfriends' feelings before you do anything that might negatively affect your relationship. If you feel as though you cannot do the long distance thing then let her know, before things get messy.
Q My mother allowed to borrow her car on the condition that I would return it within two weeks of school resuming. She let me use it because I had a lot of items to bring back to campus, I wanted it because it was a hummer and what better car to come back to school in? Two weeks after my mother started calling me for her car, she even threatened to report it stolen. Now that every one knows I have the car it's really kind of hard to give it back to my mother especially after I told my girlfriend that it was a birthday gift. What should I do?
Car trouble……..
Adaeze: Well I think you should either beg your mother for some more time with the car and promise to return it soon…….if she'll have that or just be honest and let your girl know the truth, after all that's the only person that matters. If all else fails just say you gave the car back because of the gas prices and the car is at home……no one's going to know.
