A = Average, Beyonce's New Album a Disappointment.

Sasha Fierce is Beyoncé's fiery alter ego, and in her new album, I Am…Beyonce embodies this persona.
Beyoncé opens with "If I Were A Boy", a beautiful and certainly moving ballad about her feelings about the fact that men live completely different lives than women. This and the song "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" is pretty much as good as it gets.
"Diva" could have also been a decent song if it didn't sound so much like "A Milli."
A few catchy tunes here and there hardly make up for the other average songs. As the music progresses, the desire to hear more does not; after taking an even closer listen to the songs, a few sound extremely similar to songs by artists like Lil' Wayne and Rihanna.
This album is pretty much average and even subpar compared to her other albums. Surely Beyonce could have done much better with this LP. Although I Am…Sasha Fierce is not a complete failure, it is truly a disappointment.
This album was expected to be among the best of her work, but has proven otherwise. Very little range for Beyoncé can be heard here; no evidence of her growth as an artist shows with this collection of music.
Sasha Fierce appears to be the same personality that Beyonce fans have been used to all along, not really much of a difference to call it an "alter ego". The poor excuse of a so-called deluxe edition, and even the standard edition, did not deserve to be on two discs when the songs could have easily fit on one with room for an intro, outro, and interludes.
Beyonce is a wonderful artist with a great voice and talented with lyrics, but she just could have done so much better.

I was not a fan of how this album came in two discs. I get the idea that the two discs represented her two different sides or whatever, but really it was just annoying to have only five songs on each cd. (Continued…)
