Ripped posters and heated confrontations by freshmen class officers prompted an open hearing called by department of Student Life and Leadership, that resulted in two of the candidates withdrawal from the race.

Director of Student Life and Leadership, Lillian Adderson said it saddened her to call this meeting because students have not "conducted themselves properly."

The meeting chaired by Election Board Chair and Business Manager for the Student Government Association, Anthony Beckett was held as an open hearing where the candidates expressed their frustration with what they termed as "drama," during the campaign process.
